Version Control for Scientists

Introduction

This week was the Software Underground TRANSFORM 21 Unconference a combining tutorials, a hackathon with unconference events and SWUNG’s first AGM.

On Thursday (22nd April) at 11am UTC, I gave a tutorial on Version Control for Scientists! Looking at a version control workflow that used Git, Github, Curvenote and DVC.

In the end, I had far too much content! and we ended up covering Git and Github in the Live Session. I went back after the fact and recorded the Curvenote and DVC parts later. You can find all the streams below!

Part 1 - Git & GitHub

Part 2 - Curvenote

Part 3 - DVC
